Uotila P., Sennikov A. N. & Danin A.: The nomenclature of Portulaca oleracea and P. sativa (Portulacaceae). — Willdenowia 42: 25–28. June 2012. — Online ISSN 1868-6397; © 2012 BGBM Berlin-Dahlem. Stable URL: http//dx.doi.org/10.3372/wi.42.42102The name of the common purslane, Portulaca sativa, is lectotypified with an illustration from Lobel's Plantarum Seu Stirpium Icones and a supporting epitype specimen is designated.
