Abstract

In the range of August 31 − September 5, 2009 in National Center of Control and Test of Space Facilities of National Space Agency of Ukraine was held the Ninth Ukrainian Conference on Space Research. The Conference was organized by the Institute of Space Research of NAS of Ukraine and NSA of Ukraine and National Center of Control and Test of Space Facilities of NSA of Ukraine under support of NAS of Ukraine. The Conference was devoted to International year of astronomy, the 150-th anniversary of experimental research of space weather and the 40-th anniversary of man landing on the Moon. The research area of the Conference was presented by the following sections: "Physics of Sun and sunny wind", "Physics of magnetosphere", "Physics of ionosphere and neutral atmosphere", "Projects and missions concerning space weather", "Moon and its environment investigations", "Experiments, facilities and technologies in interests of Exploration program" as well as "Science about life within the frames of Exploration program". Moreover, in the course of conference work round table was held concerning the program "Exploration-UA" and space mission "Selena". In parallel with the Conference meetings took place four side meeting of representatives of NAS of Ukraine, NSA of Ukraine, Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and Federal Space Agency of RF as well as joint working meetings on joint Russian-Ukrainian experiments on Russian segment of International Space Station and joint satellite projects.
