Abstract

A new three phase VFVA sine wave generator is presented in this paper. The authors describe the three-phase reference sine wave which is produced by this generator's circuit and is required by a cycloconverter which is also presented. The authors also introduce the speed control and harmonics analysis of a variable frequency cycloconverter. A new sample-and-hold three-phase VFVA sine wave generator principle, circuit and experimentation waveforms are introduced. The principle of this sample-and-hold circuit is simple and the realization of hardware circuit is easy. >
