Abstract
ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE is at present installing a new generation of means of real-time control of its generation-transmission facilities, in the power plants and substations, the master substations, and the regional and national dispatch centres. A prospective survey of the electric power transmission system and its control has made it possible to define a long term plan whose various elements are at present being implemented.The object of this report is to present the main characteristics of this plan.
