Abstract

Improvement in the quality of health care delivered in the NHS is high on the Government's agenda. This is clear from the introduction of new organizations such as the National Institute for Clinical Excellence and the Commission of Health Improvement, and the publication of numerous policy discussion documents. New developments in the health quality field are happening at a fast rate and it is difficult for nurses to keep up to date.
