Abstract
Engineering surveys are considered for the preparation of project documentation, construction and reconstruction of capital construction projects. The main and special types of engineering surveys, the area of study, objects, composition, tasks and requirements for their implementation are presented. It is noted that engineering surveys for construction should be carried out in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and technical documents in the field of engineering surveys.
