Abstract
This article aims at evaluating both the present status of nuclear power in general and its implications for the Turkish energy market. A comparison is made between hydropower energy and nuclear energy. Also, the necessity of nuclear energy in Turkey and positions of nuclear power plants is discussed for the coming years.
