Abstract

We discuss quality assurance for education content and evaluation of mastery of skills by using qualifying examinations in university Liberal Arts classes. It is considered that there are three merits in using those examinations: ‘Clarity of degree of achievement and evaluation criteria’, ‘Easy management for multiple classes’, and ‘Encouraging students’ learning motivation’.
