Abstract

The near-infrared absorption spectrum of N 2O has been recorded by intracavity laser absorption spectroscopy in the range 11200–12300 cm −1. Six bands have been observed and rotationally analysed. The corresponding upper-state vibrational levels and rotational constants are satisfactorily accounted for in the frame of the cluster model proposed in the literature, and supported by the effective Hamiltonian developed by Teffo, Perevalov and Lyulin.
