Abstract

The approach to the problem of powerful spontaneous magnetic field (SMF) generation and radio frequency (RF) radiation of laser-produced plasma created by ultrashort laser pulse on the surface of the target is developed in this paper. The mechanism of vortical structure generation due to collective effects is considered and the model of vortical electron-anisotropy hydrodynamics based on the system of equations for quasistatic magnetic field and stress tensor is developed. Attention is paid to the fact that the transformation efficiency of ionizing pulse energy into SMF and RF-radiation energy may be increased significantly if one takes into account that laser-produced plasma is nonequilibrium and anisotropic. In the case of solid state plasma the efficiency of RF generation process can achieve the values up to 0.00001. The efficiency can reach up to a few percents if one takes into account the ``binar`` mechanism of pulse effect in gas state plasma. The efficiency of SMF generation can achieve the values up to 0.1. The experiments were carried out using the TTT-class installation (1.0 Joules; 1.0 picoseconds).
