Abstract

The values of the n.m.r. chemical shifts of suitable substituent groups in some ketones, dimethylformamide, and acetonitrile differ in cyclopropane and cyclohexane solutions in a manner which indicates specific interactions between these polar solute molecules and solvent cyclopropane. These solvent shifts are discussed.
