Abstract

In patients who present in adult life with gout, renal stone or hyperuricemia, urate overproduction is thought to have been present for many years prior to clinical recognition. These patients are asymptomatic until well into adult life. Thus, there have been few studies of urate overproduction during its asymptomatic or pre-clinical phase.KeywordsUric AcidSickle Cell AnemiaSickle CellSerum Uric AcidSickle Cell Disease PatientThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
