Research Article| March 01 2019 The Natural Cinema of Aleksandr Rastorguev Nikita Smirnov, Nikita Smirnov Nikita Smirnov is a St. Petersburg-based film critic. Born in 1989 in Kalinin, USSR (now Tver, Russia), he earned a specialist degree in film studies from St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television in 2012. He has worked as a website editor for Séance magazine since 2018.
