Abstract

The National Research Council has announced the Research Associateship program for 1973. The Associateship programs enable postdoctoral investigators to conduct research, largely of their own choice, in selected federal laboratories. Participating in the program are the Air Force Systems Command, Ballistic Research Laboratories, Naval Research Laboratory, Smithsonian. Astrophysical Observatory, Feltman Research Laboratory, U.S. Army Materials and Mechanics Research Center, U.S. Army Natick Laboratories, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Agricultural Research Service, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (U.S. Navy), Bureau of Mines, National Bureau of Standards, Naval Ordnance Laboratory, Naval Undersea Center, Naval Weapons Center, and the U.S. Geological Survey.
