Abstract
Fiscal 1972-73 was financially sound for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics; and we were able to exceed our budget in some critical revenue areas and operate under budget in some expense areas. The Financial Policies Committee remains concerned that the publications and convention activities do not result in excessive deficits. These two areas have been financially troublesome; and we will continue to encourage firmer control on the long-term planning of these activities.
