Abstract

A survey of (n, d) reactions on 3He, 6Li, 7Li, 10B, 11B, 14N, 15N, 16O and 19F is made using zero-range DWBA calculations. Average parameters for the neutron and deuteron optical-model potentials are used. The spectroscopic factors obtained from this analysis are compared with theoretical predictions as well as with the results from other one-nucleon transfer reactions on these nuclei. In most cases reasonable agreement between theoretical predictions and experimental data is achieved. Strong disagreement for (n, d) reaction on 6Li is associated with the presence of reaction mechanisms other than proton pick-up.
