Abstract

The four states of the 1s3s, 1s3d triplet gerade complex and the metastable 1s2p c 3Π−u state of HD are studied by laser photofragment spectroscopy in a fast mass- and state-selected neutral beam. The spectra are assigned using a model for the l uncoupling in the 3s, 3d complex. Precise experimental molecular constants are obtained for the c state.
