Abstract

Adrenomedullin (AM) is an important factor in regulating cardiovascular. We aimed to observe the changes in AM and its receptor – calcitonin receptor – like receptor (CL) and receptor activity modifying proteins (RAMPs) – in myocardial ischemic injury and the response of injured myocardia to AM. Myocardial ischemia rat model w as induced by isoproterenol (ISO). The content of AM and cAMP were measured. The mRNA and protein levels of AM, CL, RAMP1, RAMP2 and RAMP3 were determined. Protein levels of Akt and phosphor-Akt were assayed.
