Abstract

Entrepreneurship has grown significantly in the last several years and is expected to continue increasing tremendously in the next ten years in the ever-growing world of technological disruptions and innovations. However, how can an entrepreneur differentiate themselves from the millions of others? This is the context in which personal branding is useful. Entrepreneurs can increase consumer trust and grow their enterprises rapidly in terms of profitability and brand equity by developing a strong personal brand. Using Elon Musk’s personal branding as a case study, this secondary research paper uses qualitative research methods to examine the significance of personal branding for entrepreneurs. The objective of this study is to provide entrepreneurs with an insightful knowledge of personal branding and how to use it to further the development, expansion of their businesses as well as create credibility among their customers and peers.
