Abstract

Aiming at low efficiency, low accuracy and other issues existing in large lathes geometric precision detection, the paper proposes a new method of measuring geometric precision of lathes. The method is based on the principle of GPS positioning, Using a laser tracker on four different positions, the coordinates of the same target points with a continuous trajectory could be acquired. By a large number of coordinates of the target points, the redundant equations could be established. By solving the equations· the precise location of the movement target points could be obtained. The 13 geometric errors could be separated through the coordinates of the target points. The method is called multi-basispoint and time-sharing measurement in the article
