Abstract

Professor Philip E.V. Van Kerrebroeck obtained his medical degree from the University of Louvain in 1978 and trained in General Surgery and Urology in Belgium and The Netherlands. Registered as a urologist in 1984, he received a masters degree in medicine from the University of Antwerp (Belgium) in 1992 and a Ph.D. in medical sciences from the University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands in 1993. Since 1993, he has been a Fellow of the European Board of Urology. He is currently Professor of Urology at University of Maastricht and Chairman of the Department of Urology in the University Hospital of Maastricht.
