Abstract

The research problem is to reveal the most important problems facing the integration of people with special needs in educational institutions "public schools" in the city of Misurata from the point of view of their teachers. The research problem is defined in the following questions: 1- What are the most important problems facing the integration of people with special needs in educational institutions “public schools” from the point of view of their teachers in the city of Misurata. From this main question, the following questions arise: a)Are there statistically significant differences in the average level of problems "according to the school's physical environment". b)Are there statistically significant differences in the average level of problems "according to psychological problems". c)Are there statistically significant differences in the average level of problems "according to behavioral problems". d)Are there statistically significant differences in the average level of problems "according to social problems". e)Are there statistically significant differences in the average level of problems "according to academic problems". 2- Are there statistically significant differences in the opinions of the research sample about the level of problems prevalence according to years of experience. 3- Are there statistically significant differences in the opinions of the research sample about the level of problems prevalence according to the academic specialization. The researcher has used the "descriptive approach" and the research sample included teachers of "special groups" within public schools "the stage of basic education" in the city of Misurata during the year 2021-2022, and their number is (86) teachers, representing the research community, and the sample was (69) teachers. The questionnaire as a tool for research, including (41) items and distributed over five axes, namely: Problems related to the school's physical environment - psychological problems - social problems - behavioral problems - academic problems. Results: The researchers concluded that there are statistically significant differences for the problems facing the integration of people with special needs; It showed the following results: 1-Academic problems ranked first, then followed by problems related to the physical environment of the class, and in the third place came social problems, then psychological problems, and in the last place behavioral problems. 2-No statistically significant differences were found for the problems facing integrating people with special needs according to years of experience. 3-There are no statistically significant differences for the problems facing the integration of people with special needs according to the academic specialization. A number of recommendations were presented that could help teachers to perform their job to the fullest, and the integration process for people with special needs was successful..
