Abstract
The article presents analysis of structure, rate and duration of morbidity of temporary disability of sailors of the Sakhalin oblast in 2010-2017. The results of study demonstrated that structure of morbidity of temporary disability factually had no changes but number of cases and days of disability because of morbidity significantly and reliably decreased both among males and females. The decreasing of morbidity of temporary disability occurred mainly at the expense of diseases of musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, diseases of blood circulation system, traumas, intoxications and other external causes. The significant gender differences in indices of morbidity of temporary disability remain. They are significantly higher in females. So, in 2010-2013 number of cases of temporary disability among females was twice higher and number of days of temporary disability 1.64 times higher than among males. In 2014-2017 these indices among females were 1.68 and 1.62 times higher than among males correspondingly. The temporary disability among sailors basically was related to diseases of respiratory system, musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, digestion system, traumas, intoxications and other external causes and also with neoplasms.
