The monthly labor review The early struggles of a burgeoning giant, 1915–1925 [1

Abstract

A descriptive account of the early years of the Monthly Labor Review is presented in this article. Particular attention is paid to the government publishing environment of that time. The MLR's early struggles with the House Committee on Appropriations and the Joint Committee on Printing are also examined.
