Abstract

The preparation and X-ray crystal structures of co-crystals containing octafluoronaphthalene with organic and organometallic compounds is reported. The type of association, namely, alignment of molecular quadrupole moments, that is observed in these systems provides an easy method of preparing well-ordered arrays of organic/organometallic molecules.
