Abstract

Pineapple (Ananas comosus Merr.) is a fruit that contains microorganisms. A microbial infections that enter into body, able to get in the body’s defense system and multiply. The pathogenic bacteria species which are contained from the pineapple (Ananas comosus Merr.) and caused disease from host. The isolation process, a pathogen bacteria activity test and isolate DNA extraction with using electrophoresis method, and then done sequencing process. The results activity test from isolate I36 with using antibiotic are ciprofloxacin and erythromycin as many as 11 mm and 7 mm while I48 as many as 14 mm and 9 mm. All of the isolates showing DNA band when electrophoresis process and after that, result DNA extraction will be done amplification of 16S rRNA gene using running PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). The product from PCR as many as 1500 bp for each isolates. Bacteria species which of contained in the isolates I36 and I48 from Pineapple (Ananas comosus Merr.) namely Klebsiella pneumonia and Brevibacillus borstelensis.
