Abstract

The Extended Mind Hypothesis by Andy Clark and David Chalmers (1998) brings a new dimension into the mind-body debate, by holding the distinction between mind, body, and the environment as unprincipled and asserts that the mind extends into the world. In this paper, I argue that the scope of the mind is wider than described in the thought experiment presented by C&C, while also exploring the question, where does the mind stop, and the rest of the world begin?
