Abstract
The rotational spectra of the 35Cl 35Cl, 35Cl 37Cl, and 37Cl 37Cl isotopomers of cis- 1,2-dichloroethylene have been observed in the frequency range 12.4-246 GHz. Accurate rotational constants and all the quartic and sextic centrifugal distortion constants have been obtained from semirigid rotor fits to the central line frequencies corrected for the chlorine nuclear quadrupole coupling. The chlorine nuclear quadrupole coupling constants of the 35Cl 35Cl, 35Cl 37Cl, and 37Cl 37Cl isotopomers have been determined.
