Abstract

BY his message of May 24, 1951, the President recommended to the Congress a Mutual Security Program as another vital step along the road to real security and lasting peace. This program recognizes that our national security depends upon the security of all the free nations of the world, and embodies proposals for military, economic, and technical assistance to these nations so as to enable them better to make their national contributions to the collective security of the free world.
