Abstract

The postdromic phase consists in a set of symptoms occurring once the acute headache has resolved. Its duration varies between several hours and one or more days and it occurs in around 2/3 of the patients. Although it is very common and disabling, the postdromic phase is the least studied and understood phase of the migraine attack. We aimed to determine the prevalence, characterize the clinical presentation and assess the impact of the postdromic phase on daily activities, work activity and quality of life.
