The microwave spectra and vibration-rotation interaction constants for CD 3I in the excited vibrational states

Abstract

The microwave spectra in the J = 1 → 3 region for CD 3I has been observed and six excited vibrational states assigned. The vibration rotation interaction constants, α B and nuclear quadrupole coupling constants, eQq, have been determined for the states: ν 2, ν 3, ν 5, ν 6, 2 ν 3, and ν 3 + ν 6. For the degenerate vibrational states, the l type doubling constants, q t were determined.
