Abstract
A great deal of controversy exists in the field of microwave radiation bioeffects and permissible exposure levels. Much of this controversy is based on differences in philosophy between the Western and Soviet Bloc nations. These differences are discussed along with the industrial and environmental significance of microwave radiation. It is suggested that increased co‐operation between East and West in this field would be invaluable in helping to resolve the controversy.
