The crowning point of my visit to this old seat of learning was a dinner given by Professor Koenig in one of the apartments of the hospital shortly before my departure, to which Professor Rosenbach and the house surgeons were invited. Toasts were drank, views exchanged until the cruel town clock reminded us that the hour for leaving had arrived.
