Abstract

Fine structural autoradiography involving the incorporation of myo-inositol-2-<sup>3</sup>H (MI-2-<sup>3</sup>H) unto lily anther during development has been used to explore the metabolic processes of microspore development and the interation between the devlaping microspore and degenerating tapetal cells.
