Abstract
The influence of the choice of the -meson mass value in the parametrization of the Dirac - Brueckner - Hartree - Fock NN interaction has been studied. The Dirac - Brueckner - Hartree - Fock results have been parametrized in the framework of the relativistic Hartree - Fock approximation where the coupling constants have been made density dependent. As an example, we have calculated the nucleon mean free path in nuclear matter. We have found that it strongly depends on the mass value.
