Abstract

At the executive session of the Thirteenth Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America, held in New Orleans, La., November 28, 1927, Dr. Robert H. Lafferty, Dr. J. F. Herrick, and Dr. W. W. Wasson submitted recommendations for the establishment of a Trust Fund to be known as the Memorial Fund of the Radiological Society of North America. The purpose of the Fund is expressed in Article 5, Section 13, of the Constitution and is as follows: “That a committee of five members be appointed to act as Memorial Fund Trustees whose duty it shall be to establish an Endowment Fund. They shall devise ways and means of securing money for the Fund which shall be entrusted for investment to some well established and reliable Bank or Trust Company, which shall have complete control of the investment of the funds.
