The Mega-Economic Interactive Surface (MEI-Surface)

Abstract

This paper propose a new multi-dimensional graphical modeling (Ruiz, 2007) is called the Mega-Economic Interactive Surface MEI-Surface(See Figure 2). The MEI-Surface is willing to evaluate any economy as a whole, it is based on the visualization of a large number of macroeconomics variables are running and interacting together in the same graphical space in real time. The main objective of the MEI-Surface is to detect and alert of possible failures in some or all macroeconomics variables that can generate a possible economic recession or economic crisis in the short and long run.
