The Medical Image Watermarking Algorithm with Encryption by Perceptual Hashing and Double Chaos System

Abstract

In order to protect the privacy of patient information in medical image, a medical image watermarking algorithm based on hash perception is proposed. In order to enhance the security of watermarking algorithm, double chaos technique technology is adopted to the pretreatment before embedding watermark image. Under the premise that does not affect the focal zone of medical image, Make full use the character of perception hash extract fingerprint image combined with zero watermark to keep the good robustness. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that this algorithm has very good robustness to the traditional attack such as JPEG compression, gaussian noise and geometric attacks like translation, scaling. This algorithm is a blind watermarking algorithm so that the extraction of watermark does not require the original medical images.
