Abstract

The study aims to examine the mediatory role of leader-member exchange in the relationship between organizational commitment and Organizational cynicism among school counsellors. The research group consists of 171 school counsellors (109 females and 62 males). Data related to organizational commitment “Organizational Commitment Scale”, organizational cynicism “Organizational Cynicism Scale”, leader-member exchange “Leader-Member Exchange Scale”, were conducted. The study was used in AMOS 26 program for mediation analysis. Bootstrapping procedures were applied to analyze the significance of indirect effects. The result of this research revealed that leader-member exchange was found to be partially mediated in the relationship between organizational commitment and organizational cynicism in school.
