Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of software solutions and outsourced logistics service providers in the logistics industry in India. The logistics industry in India is a significant contributor to the country's economy, and with the growth of e-commerce and the increasing demand for timely and efficient delivery of goods, the industry has seen significant transformations in recent years. This case study will provide an overview of the Indian logistics industry and the challenges faced by logistics companies in the country. It will then examine the role of software solutions such as transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and supply chain management (SCM) systems in streamlining logistics processes and reducing costs.
