Abstract

본 연구는 초등학생의 거부민감성과 스마트폰 중독의 관계에서 기본심리욕구의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기 지역의 초등학생 284명을 표집하여 기초통계, 상관분석, 구조모형 검증, 매개효과 검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 거부민감성, 기본심리욕구, 스마트폰중독은 대체로 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈고, 거부민감성이 기본심리욕구를 매개로 스마트폰 중독에 영향을 미치는 구조모형의 적합도는 양호하였다. 또한 이들 간의 경로계수도 모두 유의하게 나타났다. 또한 거부민감성과 스마트폰 중독을 기본심리욕구가 매개하는지 살펴본 결과 유의한 직, 간접 효과를 나타내 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 내용을 토대로 스마트폰 중독의 위험이 있는 초등학생 상담시 거부민감성과 기본심리욕구에 대한 상담적 개입의 방향과 시사점을 제시하였다.This study examines whether basic psychological needs are mediated to influence the relationship between rejection sensitivity and smartphone addiction in elementary school students. To that end, 284 elementary school students in Gyeonggi area were sampled to conduct basic statistics, correlation analysis, structural model verification, and mediating effect test. The findings of this study are outlined below. The rejection sensitivity, the basic psychological needs, and the smartphone addiction showed a significant correlation. The modeling that influenced the smartphone addiction through the basic psychological needs as a mediator showed the good fit, and the path coefficients between these were all found to be significant. Further, The findings of this study showed that basic psychological needs had significant direct and indirect mediating effect on rejection sensitivity and smartphone addiction. This study thus offered counseling involvement direction and implications with regard to rejection sensitivity and basic psychological needs when counseling elementary school students with the risk of smartphone addiction.
