Abstract

The optimal conditions for stimulation of mouse spleen cells with phytohemagglutinin (PHA) in short term culture have been explored. A method for determination of the thymidine incorporation initiated by PHA is described. It is applied to a study of the PHA response in spleen cells from mice injected with PHA at birth compared to untreated mice of corresponding age.
