Abstract

BN ceramic and stainless steel metal had been connected by vacuum brazing technology. The surface morphology and the micro-structure of solder were observed by optical microscope and scanning electron microscope. The mechanical property of solder was tested by the experiment. The experimental results show that: titanium powder/ Ni powder alloy solder can not form a valid connection due to osteoporosis and porous surface after high temperature heating. Ti powder /Ni foil solder can produce certain effects of connection, but BN ceramic occurs exfoliation in the process of cooling. Because of the affection of impurity elements, eutectic melting temperature of Ti-Ni based solder decreases, and the multiple solder alloy has formed with high density.
