Abstract
Abstract The measurement of the tendency of unvulcanized rubber to recover from deformation on the Mooney shearing-disc viscometer has been found to be practicable, and the results correlate fairly well with recovery measurements on the parallel-plate plastometer and shrinkages of rubbers after milling, calendering and extruding. Partial prevulcanization is also indicated.
