Abstract

For three subjects source parameters were estimated from measured ECG data. Different single dipole source models were considered as well as a double layer source model. The single dipole models as well as the double layer model were found to yield simulated surface potentials closely corresponding to the observed data. Next, the MCG was calculated for the different source models. These simulated MCGs were compared to measured MCGs. The double layer model was found to describe the genesis of the MCG better than the single dipole models.
