The Paper Focuses on the Latest Archaeological Finds That Force a Revision of Old Theories on the Beginnings of Maya Civilization. As We Know Today, the Lowland Maya Developed and Sustained State Societies Centuries Prior to the Classic Period. The Period Archaeologists Refer to As the Pre-Classic (2000 B.C –Ad 200) Represents the First Series of Complete Cycles of Maya Civilization.
