Abstract

This research develops the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) device by Arduino ATmega2560 and express the values on 3.5-inch display. Moreover, all data recorded in SD card. The percentage error results of MPPT device tested with DC power supply found that were less than 2.25%. Therefore, this device can apply to measure maximum power point of solar cell panel. For MPPT device experiment with solar cell panel will adjust luminous flux density equal 4 level were 5000Lux, 6000Lux, 7000Lux and 8000Lux. These results, found that 8000Lux of luminous flux were maximum current, voltage, power and resistance equal 0.704A, 20.07V, 14.126W and 28Ω respectively. The data result of all expressed on 3.5-inch display will show in IV-curve and PV-curve form. However, the limitation of MPPT device was can’t measuring of high-power solar cell panel more than 25V and 1.5A.
