Abstract

A GENERAL meeting of the Mathematical Association was held at the Polytechnic, Regent Street, London, during April 24 and 25, under the presidency of Prof. Sydney Chapman, chief professor of mathematics at the Imperial College of Science and Technology until his recent election to the Sedleian professorship of natural philosophy at Oxford. The annual report of the Council was adopted, and the officers for the ensuing twelve months elected; the new president is Mr. W. F. Bushell, headmaster of Birkenhead School.
