Abstract

The control of energy consumption pattern is one of the most important methods to improve the efficiency of electricity demand. This paper deals with technical and economic optimization of operation in a complex electric power system - consumer under equal rights of both partners. Under market conditions solving the problem is only possible through the flexible use of economic boundaries. The aim of this paper is to show that at the present stage of the electricity market organization (e.g. in Russia) one of the most effective ways to optimize demand for electricity is wisely-constructed schedule of peak load distribution within a critical time in a power system with the consumer-regulator. This consumer will take part on the marked if his rescheduling will compensated with a special tariff by the power system operator. In the paper the modeling of the optimization process and some example calculations have been shown.
