Abstract

SUMMARY Professional and personal competencies in librarianship relate to the practitioner's skills and knowledge of information resources, access, technology and management, and the ability to use this knowledge as a basis for providing the highest quality information services in the performance of their job. This paper discusses best practices, experiences and knowledge in the management of sci-tech libraries.
